Spotify: Listen to new music, podcasts, and songs review
Spotify is one of the world's largest streaming audio services, allowing you to listen to the music of popular labels and various artists. The service is available as a mobile and web application. You can download the program on your iOS or Android device or run the program on your computer. There is a program since 2006.
Design and Usability 10/10
The interface of mobile and web-application is made in dark colors using the company's green color. Users note a very simple menu, which is not difficult to understand. The main page has sections with any tracks, and below are added popular playlists. Each playlist or track has a stock theme photo, making it easy to guess the audio theme. The menu has only three main sections at the bottom of the screen: "Home", "Search" and "My Media Library".
Key Functions 8/10
The Spotify application and web service are designed to listen to playlists and music online. The disadvantage is that the service requires a permanent Internet connection to be used. The tracks you listen to in your favorite list are not automatically downloaded, so you can't always listen to music without an Internet connection. The advantage of the service is access to new and current music and many tracks of the 70s, 80s, 90s. All music is absolutely legal and licensed. Spotify company from 2006 to 2018 was unprofitable, as it earned much less than paid royalties to the authors of songs.
The Spotify application asks for standard installation permissions. The mobile program does not have access to personal data, contact database, photo, or video camera of the device. To use the service, you will need to connect a subscription. But this is secure. Since the company was founded, there have been no casing cases or attempts to gain unauthorized access to user data.
