Getcontact

Getcontact review
Getcontact is a mobile application that displays the caller's name even if it is not in the user's contact list. The application has a mixed reputation for providing access to contacts and the call list during registration. The program receives data about each user and assigns a name to each number.
Design and Usability 7/10
The web-interface of this application is difficult to call beautiful and attractive. The developers did not pay much attention to details. The mobile program has several menu sections, including "Search", "Spam", "Call", and "Other". In these sections, you can access the history of calls and information about yourself. On the main page, you can see who has written to you in his notebook. Switching between sections of the menu is convenient. But the basic colors blue and white seem too simple. Usability can be rated at 4 points out of 5, but the interface hardly deserves more than 3 points.
Key Functions 8/10
The functions of the Getcontact application are not limited to displaying the caller's name only. In the paid version, you can activate spam protection for one user or the whole family. It will protect you from intrusive calls from bots, banks, fraudsters, and advertising. The spam filter works very accurately. The number of the caller determines the application. If the call comes from an unwanted subscriber, the call is blocked, and the user will see a notification about it. Also, in the program, you can see how other users sign friends.
Security 5/10
The Getcontact application has a bad reputation because of the open access to users' data. The application has access to the contact list and their name, calls, and many other functions. Because of this, in some countries, the application is forbidden to use, and tens of thousands of users recommend not to use this program on their smartphones and tablets.
Cons:
- Access to personal data
- Low-security level
Pros:
- Convenient spam filter for calls
- You can see how you are signed at your contacts
- Free version
